And here it is – slightly tardy but far more entertaining than the Chinese GP, our take on the Bahrain Grand Prix for Episode 2 of the Torque FM, the Fitzroy Motor podcast! Top billing goes to the Bildungsroman of Charles Leclerc’s win-that-wasn’t for Ferrari and the stony path to redemption of Sebastian Vettel, followed at pace by the Renault double-act engine failure, a nod towards the general chaos of the Bahrain GP, more Williams woes and a cheeky prodding of our favourite F1 sponsors…

As ever, please give us a listen and let us know what you think!

And if you missed Episode 1, give that a listen too…

Episode 2 – The 2019 Bahrain Grand Prix

Hot off the starting line is our roundup of our top talking points from the Bahrain Grand Prix. Top billing goes to the Bildungsroman of Charles Leclerc’s win-that-wasn’t for Ferrari and the stony path to redemption of Sebastian Vettel, followed at pace by the Renault double-act engine failure, a nod towards the general chaos of the Bahrain GP, more Williams woes and a cheeky prodding of our favourite F1 sponsors.

Torque FM: The Fitzroy Motor Podcast

After our traditional Fitzroy Motor winter break (spent in various states of merriment in Europe’s finest ski chalets) we thought we’d take the opportunity to try something a little bit different to go alongside our written pieces. So here we present to you our new podcast – Torque FM, an irreverent and exciting take on the 2019 Formula 1 season, which promises to be an absolute corker. So come join us for thrills, spills, petrol bills and the occasional offbeat interlude from two of the plummiest accents in motorsport!

Naturally, our first episode covers the first race of the season – the Australian Grand Prix at Albert Park, Melbourne. And what a race it was – from Valtteri Bottas storming to victory in dominant fashion, to Daniel Ricciardo finally ridding himself of his wings, the battle of Verstappen and Vettel, and the new fastest lap bonus point bunfight, there was plenty to discuss. Just don’t mention Williams…

We are already working on our next episode, covering the monumental Bahrain Grand Prix.

Listen below, enjoy, share, and let us know what you think!

Episode 1 – The 2019 Australian Grand Prix

For our first podcast, we embark on a humorous rundown of our top talking points from the 2019 Australian Grand Prix at Albert Park, Melbourne. Whether it’s Valtteri Bottas smashing his way to victory, Danny Ricciardo losing his wings (literally…), the fierce “battle of the V’s” or the bonus bunfight for fastest lap, there was plenty to talk about after the first thrilling race of the season.
